Which restaurants are included on Carnival Horizon?

The Main Dining Room, Lido Marketplace, Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, Pizzeria del Capitano and the deli cover everyday meals. The Captain’s Pasta Bar adds an included lunch option during scheduled service. Carnival also advertises a complimentary lunch menu at Guy’s Pig & Anchor; check the day and service rather than assuming the evening menu follows the same pricing.

The table covers principal venues. Confirm hours and access in the official ship information. Drinks, premium dishes and delivery may cost extra even where standard food is included.

Decide whether the grill show or the food menu is the priority

Carnival’s Horizon guide specifically highlights Bonsai Teppanyaki, JiJi and the Smokehouse–Brewhouse. Teppanyaki is the venue to investigate when the group enjoys a shared-table cooking performance. It has a more structured pace than a quick sushi order, so allow time and choose it for people who want that interaction.

JiJi Asian Kitchen is a separate dinner choice, not the sushi or teppanyaki booking under another name. Compare its menu if the party wants Asian flavors without making the grill performance the central event. A family with varied preferences should inspect the children’s arrangements and current dishes before deciding which of the two venues suits everyone.

The Smokehouse–Brewhouse creates another kind of evening. It is a reasonable shortlist for barbecue enthusiasts who value the setting as much as a formal dining room. Beer is a separate purchasing decision, and the presence of a brewery does not make beverages part of an included lunch. Compare the actual food order and drinks with the price of another specialty meal.

Which meal is worth booking first?

If a child or adult in the group is especially excited about the chef-at-the-grill format, check Bonsai Teppanyaki availability early. If the aim is primarily dinner and conversation, compare JiJi, Cucina and Fahrenheit 555 instead. There is no benefit in paying for a performance that makes the evening less comfortable for the people attending.

For a lower-cost plan, try the scheduled pasta or barbecue lunch and keep the Main Dining Room for most dinners. Choose a single paid venue that differs from those meals. A heavy barbecue lunch followed immediately by the steakhouse can be less enjoyable than spacing the two out, even if both fit the budget.

Build a dining plan around the actual sailing

Confirm sea-day lunch hours before organizing activities around them. If the cruise has several long port days, fewer restaurant reservations can be a positive: you retain the option to eat ashore or have an easy meal after returning. A full package only saves money if you use meals you would otherwise have bought.

Check the correct ship when reading Carnival promotions. The Cucina first-meal exception is currently advertised for Celebration, Jubilee and Mardi Gras, not automatically Horizon. Use the rate shown in your booking and inspect service charges and child pricing. Keep a copy of the confirmation rather than relying on a generic menu screenshot.
