Before final payment
Ask Royal Caribbean or your travel advisor to review the currently available lower fare. If eligible, Royal Caribbean says it will adjust the fare; amounts already paid may be refunded.
After final payment
The public U.S. FAQ describes the 24-hour-from-booking exception. Outside that window, do not assume a cash adjustment is available. A higher cabin class priced below what you paid may qualify for an upgrade, subject to availability.
What needs to match
The same cruise, sail date, and room type, using a lower price available through Royal Caribbean's website or call center.
Important exclusions
The program is not available in every country or for every booking. Different promotions, residency or loyalty eligibility, group and casino rates, guarantee cabins, and added benefits can make two prices non-comparable.
- A cabin-class headline price is not enough; compare the room category and guest count.
- Changing promotions can remove onboard credit or other benefits.
What to do when CruiseGem finds a lower price
- 1Save a screenshot and the exact cabin category, occupancy, fare, promotion, and total.
- 2If a travel advisor owns the booking, contact that advisor; otherwise contact Royal Caribbean.
- 3Ask what will be lost or changed before accepting a reprice or upgrade.
Say that you found a potentially lower comparable fare and ask for a review. Do not cancel the existing reservation until the booking owner explains the net result in writing.
How CruiseGem helps
Save your booked total and the fare details you know. CruiseGem watches new observations for the same sailing, cabin class, occupancy, market, and currency. It scores category, taxes, refundability, promotion, and benefit differences before sending an alert.

Royal Caribbean Best Price GuaranteeOfficial U.S. FAQ describing timing, same-cruise comparison, fare adjustment, refund, and possible upgrade.Frequently asked questions
Am I guaranteed the potential savings CruiseGem found?
No. CruiseGem can identify an observed lower price, but only the cruise line or advisor controlling the booking can decide whether your reservation qualifies.
Could repricing remove my onboard credit or perks?
Yes. A new promotion can change deposits, onboard credit, drinks, Wi-Fi, gratuities, cabin assignment, and cancellation terms. Compare the net value before agreeing.
Should I call or contact my travel advisor?
If an advisor owns the reservation, contact that advisor. Direct bookings are generally handled by the cruise line.
