Before final payment
For an eligible Early Saver claim on a booking not yet paid in full, Carnival says it reprices the cruise fare. Submit the Price Protection form through Carnival or the advisor holding your booking, no later than two business days before sailing.
After final payment
For an approved Early Saver claim after full payment, Carnival issues the fare difference as non-refundable onboard credit. The claim deadline remains two business days before sailing; this is not a cash refund.
What needs to match
A currently bookable Carnival-advertised fare for the same ship, sailing, stateroom category, and number of guests that the booked guests are eligible to receive.
Important exclusions
Early Saver protection excludes Super Saver and fares without cabin selection, except Pack & Go. Restricted offers require eligibility. Accepting another promotion may change benefits, cabin assignment or payment terms; check the claim form before submitting.
- The currently available fare must still exist when Carnival reviews the claim.
- Accepting a guarantee fare can mean giving up a selected cabin.
What to do when CruiseGem finds a lower price
- 1Confirm the reservation uses an Early Saver fare.
- 2Record the lower fare, promotion name, cabin category, guest count, and where it appears.
- 3Submit Carnival's Price Protection form, or ask your travel advisor to submit it.
Say that you found a potentially lower comparable fare and ask for a review. Do not cancel the existing reservation until the booking owner explains the net result in writing.
How CruiseGem helps
Save your booked total and the fare details you know. CruiseGem watches new observations for the same sailing, cabin class, occupancy, market, and currency. It scores category, taxes, refundability, promotion, and benefit differences before sending an alert.

Am I guaranteed the potential savings CruiseGem found?
No. CruiseGem can identify an observed lower price, but only the cruise line or advisor controlling the booking can decide whether your reservation qualifies.
Could repricing remove my onboard credit or perks?
Yes. A new promotion can change deposits, onboard credit, drinks, Wi-Fi, gratuities, cabin assignment, and cancellation terms. Compare the net value before agreeing.
Should I call or contact my travel advisor?
If an advisor owns the reservation, contact that advisor. Direct bookings are generally handled by the cruise line.
